WELCOME TO MSUB HOUSING & RESIDENCE LIFE!
We are very excited you are joining us to live on campus! This StarRez Housing Portal is your personal ticket to applying for housing, securing a meal plan and keeping up with communication from our department. The fiscal year 2024/2025 housing application will open January 19, 2024 for all students. Once you have completed your application, you have the opportunity to search for your roommate!! This helps give you the best match for who you would like to live with.
Login instructions for new MSUB users:
Go to password.msubillings.edu and follow the instructions to setup your NetId password IF you do not already have one. If you have your NetId password, please click on the "login" word in the blue bar above. Once you setup a password you will be able to sign into the Housing Portal to complete your application or exemption form.
You will use the following for the username: msubillings\your netid. You must use the msubillings\ before your NetId at the Organizational Account sign in.
As students consider on campus living, we encourage them to look closely at what their costs might be to live off campus.
Cost for On Campus Living for the 2023-2024 Academic Year ONLY: Rates will be determined by Board of Regents for the 2023-2024 Academic Year soon.

The room rates include access to pay laundry machines, free cable TV with over 70 channels in the lobbies, computer room access (as long as the front desk is open), wireless internet access in each room, 24-hour security camera, plus access to the fitness room located in Petro Hall when the desk is open, water refill station on every other floor, new kitchenttes, engaging community relationships, intentional programming by the hall staff, free membership in the Residence Hall Association.
